I designed and developed this interface because I wished to connect the Tessel to other equipment and especially to Microchip (R) pics that I have been working with for many years. The Tessel relay add on board has only two relays. My design allows heavy duty relays and contacts to be operated, plus the outputs can directly drive boards, motors, sensors by connecting a dc power supply and then control from the Tessel.
